Cute Monster Halloween Tag

Warning!  Today’s Tag Tuesday contains high levels of cuteness in the form of a google-eyed Halloween monster!   Cute monsters are all the rage this year, appearing on everything from decor to party supplies.  So when I saw these Halloween colored google-eyes at the craft store, I knew they had to become a monster somehow.

Once I decided to use them to make a cute little monster tag, the project came together quickly.  I chose purple textured cardstock and cut a free-form monster shape with small scissors, then glued on the eyes using Beacon Zip-Dry.

The bow is made from two layers of tied cotton floss, also glued into place.  I used a small paintbrush and Citron Green acrylic paint (Americana) to add the mouth to my little monster girl.

I have lots of these eyes left over, which will probably become mini monster tags for Halloween treat bags, and juice box mummies for school lunch boxes.
