Waxed string makes a great creative toy for kids. Kids can make pictures, sculpt animals, or practice letters and numbers. They make ideal road trip toys, since they don’t make an enormous mess in the car. Even better, you can make them instead of buy. Learn how to make DIY Bendy Sticks instead of buying the pre-made name brand (Bendaroos or Wikki Stix). Enjoy making them, then enjoy playing with them!

Making Wax String Bendy Sticks

Since you’re already melting your wax block to make DIY Bendaroos, it’s a great opportunity to create other melted wax crafts at the same time. Try:

  • Dipping and glittering paper ornaments,
  • Glittering pinecones,
  • Make scented wax melts with essential oils
  • Pour candles, or
  • Make fire-starters for camping.

Yes, it’s really that easy. Enjoy!
