Sanded Embossed Cardstock-Tag Tuesday
Embossed cardstock is an extremely quick way to add texture and dimension to a craft project. This tag is created from a premade die-cut embellishment included in a cardstock stack.
I used this particular brand of cardstock because it has a core (inner layer) that is a different color. Ripping, sanding, or distressing will reveal the contrasting colored core. I sanded the raised embossed area and filled the center opening with one of my Design Adhesive sentiments from Clearsnap and lime foil. A punched hole and some fiber completed the tag. The entire thing took less than 10 minutes to complete. Perfect for a last minute gift!
(I forgot to take a photo of the tag before I sanded it, so I snapped a quick shot of the pink version of the die cut from the same stack.)
I’m off to Chicago for the CHA (Craft & Hobby Association) summer trade show. I’ll be walking the show on Tuesday, and teaching card classes for Clearsnap on Wednesday. Stop and say hi!
Until next time…
