Scrap Fabric Tags from Jen Goode-Tag Tuesday
Scrap fabric is turned into fabulous tags in today’s guest post by artist Jen Goode.
Here is what Jen has to say about this set of tags:
“You can make really neat tags with random scraps and materials. I always keep scraps from all the projects I work on. I don’t like throwing anything away, so making a tag or mini gift card is a great way to use those scraps and create something unique for someone special.
Both of these tags were made from miscellaneous pieces and parts.
The blue tag was created using scraps of silk fabric decoupaged onto some recycled card stock. I then added pieces of ribbon, a paper flower and a gold cord.
The striped pink heart tag is a folding tag. I used striped ribbon that wraps from the front to the back. Then I cut a heart from some felt and added a little funky ribbon bow. The inside of this tag has a little piece of white paper to write a message.”
I love the way Jen turned her extra pieces into something useful and beautiful. Thanks for sharing your creativity! Also check out Jen’s Doodled Tag from last week’s Tag Tuesday guest post to see more of her art.
