Bring the luck of the Irish to your game night with these Free Printable St. Patrick’s Day Bingo Cards! With charming designs and easy-to-follow gameplay, these bingo cards are a must-have for your holiday celebration.
Here in the CSD studio, I design a ton of printable bingo games. I love that everyone can play together, and that it’s a casual game that doesn’t require much energy and thinking. Sometimes you just want simple entertainment, and themed bingo games are just the ticket!
Bingo is just as much fun for the youngest players as it is for the oldest. Plus, with only a few supplies needed, it’s easy to print and set up the bingo game for your St. Patrick’s Day celebration.
I’ve added a festive green and gold color scheme, and cute St. Patrick’s Day icons like Irish flags, rainbows and pots of gold, and a lucky four leaf clover. This fun game is perfect for parties and to add some holiday flair to your regular bingo night. So grab your green beer (or green punch for the little ones) and get started!

Setting Up for Printable Bingo
Before the big day, you’ll need to prepare St. Patrick’s Day Bingo Game. It won’t take long, but it’s easier to just take out the game when you’re ready to play.
Download and print the free printable bingo sheets and calling card page. The sheets are designed 2 per US letter size page to save paper and printing costs.
Mid-weight white card stock is my favorite for bingo printables, since it’s more durable than standard printer paper. Printer paper will also work, but expect them to last only one day of use.
You can download the free printable file near the bottom of this post.
Cut apart the bingo game boards and calling cards. I use a paper cutter for straight edges and speed, but scissors will work too.
You’ll need something to use as bingo markers (think inexpensive, little things. Gold coins or Hershey kisses, green candies like m&m’s, or these cute mini rainbow erasers are all great choices )
*tip: laminating the bingo sheets using a laminating machine or will allow reusing the cards through the whole month of March, even year after year. If you don’t have a laminator, your local copy center or office supply store can take care of that for you.
You can use dry erase markers on laminated bingo sheets, though I still find the bingo cards don’t last as nicely long-term with all the erasing.
How to Play St. Patrick’s Day Bingo
Most people have played a regular bingo game before. This holiday themed bingo is similar, but players are only matching pictures without the BINGO letter columns. Reviewing the rules is still a good idea, to avoid confusion and make sure everyone is on the same page.
To play Bingo:
- Pass out bingo boards to each player or team. Place the calling cards in a bowl and mix them well.
- Give each player at least 25 bingo markers (more if using candy, since some will likely become a snack during the game.)
- Make sure each player places a marker on the free space in the center of the card.
- As the bingo caller pulls a calling card from the bowl, players add a marker to the matching picture space.
- The first person to match 5 in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) shouts “BINGO!” and wins the game
All players then clear the game pieces from their boards to play again.
Alternative Bingo Winning Plays
Changing up the winning move from a single straight line is a great way to make this fun St. Patrick’s Day game shorter or longer. Try these options:
- Four Corners– cover all 4 of the board corners
- X-OUT – match both diagonals through the center square
- Cris-Cross – match vertical and horizontal through the center square
- Make a Letter – try marking a T, L, O, or I to win
Adding More Holiday Festivity
Don’t be afraid to get in the spirit of the holiday! Everyone can use a dose of extra silliness. Go ahead and add some extra St. Patrick’s Day fun.
Try drawing the calling cards from a leprechaun hat instead of a bowl, wearing a springy shamrock headband, or having the winner shout “Pot o’ Gold” instead of BINGO. Even better, all three!
Bingo Prize Ideas
You don’t necessarily need prizes to play bingo, but it’s so much fun to have them! It definitely adds to the friendly competition, and everyone likes a shot of endorphins from winning. You can decide to have a variety of small prizes for winners to choose from, or a smaller number of larger prizes if you’re only playing a few games.
Some of my favorite bigger prizes for a variety of ages:
- St. Patrick’s Day Squishy Gnomes
- St. Patrick’s Day Can Coozies
- Lottery Tickets
- Small Potted Plant or Succulent
- Box of Lucky Charms Cereal
- St. Patrick’s Day Giant Coloring Poster
For classrooms, anything that would work in a regular prize box will work for a game of St. Patrick’s Day bingo. For coordinating themed options, try:
