Thanksgiving Wreath Ideas with Stunning Texture

How many times have you reached out to touch that gorgeous chunky-knit sweater in a clothing store, or tried to keep wandering kid fingers from grabbing that silky throw pillow in Target?  That’s the appeal of texture in action.  Whether you’re a fan of the traditional or a lover of all things modern, great use of texture can be the difference between blah and beautiful.

You may have noticed I’m a texture junkie. (Yes, I was that kid that had to touch everything in every store.  Sorry Mom!)  So when Liz at Hometalk.com asked me to curate a board on Thanksgiving wreaths, I definitely gravitated to the ones that were lumpy, bumpy, smooth, shiny, and shimmery.  Each of these wreaths grabs attention and warmly welcomes visitors, perfect for Thanksgiving.

Psst. That Ribbon Wreath in the top right corner was made by yours truly.  The full tutorial can be found here:  Fall Tied Ribbon Wreath Tutorial or by clicking the pretty picture below.
